Read the outdoor environment
Review use, terrain, drainage information, existing vegetation and the relationship between inside and outside.
Plan landscape relationships
Develop outdoor zones, movement, shade and planting direction alongside the architectural brief.
Coordinate the landscape scope
Identify interfaces with drainage, levels and specialist systems and agree the documentation required.

The appointment defines the stages, fee, programme, deliverables and responsibilities. Construction, procurement, specialist surveys, statutory submissions and site attendance are included only where explicitly agreed.
