What we work through together
Define the finished space
Start with the property, intended use, available plans, budget and target opening or move-in date. We establish what is already provided, what needs to change and the decisions required before work begins.
Agree what the fit-out includes
The proposal sets out the design, procurement, installation, site coordination and handover responsibilities included in your appointment. Materials, quantities, exclusions and specialist packages need to be clear so that quotations can be compared on the same basis.
Plan delivery and handover
Access restrictions, occupied areas, landlord requirements and the sequence of work inform the programme. Authority submissions and specialist engineering responsibilities are identified for the project and assigned to appropriately authorised professionals. Handover requirements and any aftercare commitments are recorded in the agreement.

- Discuss the scope with the Dubai studio and agree the first stage of work.
Client meetings are arranged at your premises or another agreed location; there is no walk-in studio. Projects elsewhere in the Gulf can be discussed with the team; location, access and coordination requirements determine the appointment.

When did URU start offering turnkey and fit-out solutions?
URU Design added turnkey and fit-out solutions in 2026. The Dubai entity was established in 2025 and draws on the wider URU practice’s experience.
Does turnkey mean every cost and approval is included?
The written agreement defines what is included. Design, procurement, construction, installation, approvals, specialist appointments and handover responsibilities are confirmed for the specific property; they should not be assumed from the word turnkey alone.
Can I appoint URU for design only?
Yes. Design services remain available as a separate appointment. We discuss whether design only or a turnkey and fit-out scope suits your project.
