restaurant
Restaurant interiors, planned for guests and service.
Restaurant and cafe interior design in Dubai and the UAE. Connect seating, lighting, acoustics and brand character with staff movement and back-of-house requirements.
Discuss your interior design briefPlan the guest experience and the working routes together
A restaurant interior has to serve both the guest and the operating team. Consider the arrival, waiting area, table mix, payment, collection points and routes to amenities. Test the layout against busy service conditions rather than an empty-room image. An attractive table arrangement can still create awkward staff crossings or leave too little space for guests to move.
Develop atmosphere through lighting, materials and sound
The interior concept connects the identity of the venue with furniture, finishes and lighting. Discuss different operating periods, how menus and food will be seen, and which surfaces need regular cleaning. Where acoustic performance is important, define the specialist input and assessment required instead of assuming decorative finishes will solve the problem.
Define the interface with kitchen and building services
Kitchen equipment, extraction, drainage, fire safety and other building services affect the space available for the interior. Agree who supplies and verifies these requirements and how their drawings will be coordinated. Design services, statutory submissions and construction responsibilities are separate parts of the appointment.
Relevant design proposal
The published Gulf portfolio includes a proposed restaurant interior for Sheraton Hotel Dubai. It is presented as a proposal, not as evidence of a completed hotel appointment or construction project.

Before you appoint an interior designer
What should come before the restaurant interior concept?
Define the menu, service format, target guest, intended covers and operating pattern. A cafe, table-service restaurant and takeaway-led venue place different demands on seating, collection points, circulation and support space.
How should dining design relate to the kitchen?
Guest routes, staff routes, food service and clearing should be considered together. Kitchen equipment, extraction, drainage, fire safety and other technical requirements need appropriately appointed specialists; their requirements inform the interior layout.
